I’m expecting a BACS payment tommorow and ive just logged onto my internet banking to see how much im getting paid tommorow and it says on the “Pending Transactions” that there is no future payments! i bank with HSBC and usally you can see a payment a day before it goes in.
does this mean im not actually getting paid? or is it because its a sunday and it wont show?
im confused, someone please help!? THANKS!

It will be purely because of weekend banking. The BACS will have been sent through up to a week ago from your employer to credit on your payday. During the week, pending transactions would be able to be shown as they start clearing on the account but because its Sunday, they won’t.
If you’re really in need of clarification, call the telephone banking team.
