I’m looking for a “demand for payment” template?

09 Jun

I would like to find a demand for payment or bad check letter that I can download and edit as needed. I have searched online, but can’t find any that are free. Do you know where online I can find one for free that I can save on my computer for future use? I am in the state of Texas, not sure if that matters. Thanks.

For comcast cable, how many days past the due date does the payment have to be to make it late?

09 Jun

i.e. If Comcast received the payment maybe 2 days after the date the payment is due, is it considered late and are late fees charged? Or is it a longer time period before late fees are charged?

Missed credit card payment by 3 days?

03 Jun

Does it affect my credit score? I missed a credit card payment, and noticed 3 days later, then paid it all, is this going to have any affect on me in the future? I’ve never missed, or been late on a payment before.

01 Jun

What affect do student loans have on a credit score in any case? Whether they are new and not yet due or have been defferred for a while? Does having student loans go against your credit even if they are not due yet?

Repo and payment legal question.?

31 May

We just repoed my Honda 4 wheeler today from not getting 2 months in payments. Note this is my personal bike and a civil matter and still has a loan on it. We did get the police involved and we got the bike back with a fight but we got it back. Now we made a written agreement that when the bike is payed in full they can have the bike back. Both officers signed as witnesses and well and me and the 2nd party. It was not noterized. Just a plain written agreement. Now everyone had told me that I should just keep the bike and not worry about the BS we have been going through with this deal. Since the paper was NOT noterized is this still a binding contract? The bike is still financed, in our name, in our possession and so on. Can I just disreguard everything without any legal issues like them taking us to court even if I refuse future payments?
I guess what Im trying to say is that will that paper hold against me if I decide to just keep the bike and refuse future payments from them and forget about what was written even though all of us signed? Is that paper a legal contract? Can they take me to court for the return of the bike because I signed it saying they can have the bike back IF its payed in full? If I refuse payments it wont be. It is still in my name and a loan. Now in my possesion, and they did not make 2 months of payments.
Oh and they have had this bike for about 2 years now. And not picking up the phone, not calling me back when I left messages. I see it like this…If I had a car repoed from me and I payed so many years on it…They dont give me my money back.

When is my first payment due?

31 May

I am buying a house and was told by a friend that the first payment isn’t due at closing of escrow and that our first payment will actually be due the next month? Is this true? I’ve never heard of that. Would we be able to move into the house without paying anything until the next month? this just seems unreal.
