which gives 304,614
Using a website with financial formulas i got this result, but i can’t get it on my calculator. I dont know what to calculate first. do i have to calculate the (1.006)^360 and the rest and then multiply by 240?? thats not giving me 304, 614.. could someone explain me how to do this on calculator step by step? thanks

NPV approach is a way of ascertaining if an investment is going to be financially viable. When calculating the investments financial outcome various aspects need to be taken into consideration. For example: if you had £100 sitting in the bank it would, over say a 5 years period, gain interest. When considering investing this money elsewhere you need to make more money than the interest it has lost, in order for it to be viable. Similarly factors such as inflation and a percentage of risk, associated with the investment, need to be factored in. The total percentage of these 3 factors is called the Discount rate. NPV is calculated by working out the present monetary value of an investment, over a given period of time, to determine its true value, after considering the Discount factor. If the NPV achieves a positive figure then the project is financially viable and therefore worth considering.

I am late on HOA fees and they are trying to charge astronomical fees.
For the past year, I have been in this small arts/craft show that is once a month. I sell shirts decorated with stones with my original designs. I apply each design by hand, but make several of the same shirt (which in my opinion is no different from an artist making prints or a jewelry designer making several of the same piece). I have gotten along wonderfully with all the committee that puts on the show and often give them donations for various fundraisers. Everything was great until last month. There was some construction and I was told at the last minute there was no room so I would have to wait until Nov. or Dec. I simply asked if there was a cancellation to please call me so I got in but was kind of given the cold shoulder by the organizer. While there another committee member was going around collecting payment for Oct table spaces. I asked if I could pay in advance to attend the Nov. show. I paid via check with the memo stating it was for the Nov show and got a receipt. Well, the show is in a few days. I invested a lot more money for this show since I ran out of sizes last time. I contacted the organizer regarding my spot assigment and was told there is no room for me so I have to wait for Dec. I can’t go in Dec and am mad since I paid for a spot already. They should not have accepted my payment if that was the case. My email regarding my payment is being ignored. I plan on calling tomorrow. Normally, if a show is cancelled you are giving credit for a future show. In this case it is not cancelled and the organizer acts like she does not want me attending anymore so I don’t want a credit. I have had a lot of calls from customers asking if I will be there. Of course, I have already told them yes being that I paid for my spot. Now, I find out there is no room for me. Do you think I am entitled to a refund or should I demand my table space?
I mean American society, global society, global business, what people value…all seems to be dominated, controlled, and supported by people who don’t necessarily have the spirit of truth and God within them. Basically the total opposite. People think using humanism, modernism, science, logic, and all sorts of other things, which, depending on how you look at things aren’t bad in and of themselves, but…there’s NO GOD in the picture. At all, totally non-existent and wiped out. If you utter “god” at any job interview, or to a banker, or to others (if you’re not applying for a position at a church), they’d laugh at you.
I see billboards for “the future of banking,” etc. this society has turned into a busy busy busy, money IS GOD, place, cut throat place, where humans have become dividends, and annuities are a more popular term than “prayers,” and everything is becoming a plan, conniving, calculating and cold, materialistic type of existence, where you have to work hard, plan everything out, save for this, save for that, and people don’t care about each other, use each other, lie to each other, steal from each other from criminals and low lives, to white collar. There are many billionaire and millionaires who steal.
Basically what I’m saying is, this world largely seems to be evil, supported by evil, controlled by evil, and laughs at good or the idea of God, and thinks its irrelevant.
Basically to me it sounds EXACTLY what evil spirits or entities, or better yet, godless spirits or entities would want. People or beings or spirits that don’t believe in God, or hate god, and love themselves and their agendas, would LOVE for things to be like that because then they have full power, and God’s out of the picture, and that’s EXACTLY what’s going on.
So for all the true “believers,” ….they end up going through hell because no one believes them, people think they’re crazy, and they have NO place in this new world system of the modern age. they’re seen as irrelevant and unimportant.
Meanwhile our newer generations are growing up valuing image, media, money, and sex, and all sorts of other godless things which they see as TOTALLY normal. Our music artists get all dolled up, look plastic, sing about money and sex and what not, our movies are all about money, image, status, etc,..our stores cater to that,
it’s all about what you spend, the car you drive, the clothes, your social ranking,,…how much money you have in your pocket, your credit cards…
and it’s becoming worse year by year,…inflation, business global economies, stock market,..that’s our world and it’s FAST FAST FAST, and changes by the minute.
These people and their ways of thinknig dominate and control this planet, and no one or nothing seems to stop them.
To Christians, they are the almighty satan that rule the world, and the whole world lieth in wickedness rings true to this.
God or goodness doesn’t seem to prevail at all in this system or on planet earth anymore, and it’s dwindling down to small numbers.
So what I’m wondering is 1)why doesn’t anyone acknowledge how truly evil and godless this world really is and always has been, and why isn’t anyone ever doing anything about it? Heck why isn’t god or spirits of good even doing anything about it?
and 2) if Christians truly don’t belong here, and their kingdom is not of this world, because it has been given over to Satan, then does this existence from birth to death feel like constant torture to them? How do they cope with it? Why can’t good seem to control or overpower evil here in this realm ever, if good and God are supposedly so powerful?
This world is just so wicked and favors falsity, sin, lies, deceit, image, status, money, all the fake stupid cr@p over being a good person and helping others.
It’s truly sad. Envy, competition…everything evil soars and flies here, and everything good is seen as weak, irrelevant, stupid even.
Good people are seen as chumps more or less.
People don’t want a savior, or to believe in anything. They believe in themselves, humanism, modernism, science, and they believe more in science fiction novels and have no value on human life whatsoever.
this life honestly to me, seems to be just an evil place, where human life or the belief of a soul is pretty much extinct in many ways.

Allow me post the problem, and then I’ll tell you what my issue is:
Problem: You would like to have $4500 in 4 years for a special vacation following graduation by making deposits at the end of every six months in an annuity that pays 5% compounded semiannually.
How much should you deposit at the end of every six months? (using the formula P = A(r/n) / [(1 + r/n)^nt - 1]
Here’s my issue: I am using a graphing calculator and have plugged in all of my numbers accordingly. I keep getting approx. $495 when I use the calculator. When I manually do the formula, I get $35.12. I know that the correct answer is $516, but what am I doing wrong?
Please spell it out for me in steps – I have my first exam on Wednesday and I have to pass.

It is in EXCELLENT condition; the body and paint are great, no
scratches and no dents; the interior is clean; it has never been
involved in an accident.
I’m an US Air Force Col. currently stationed in UK and the car is here
with me. It was bought in the US and shipped to Europe, but it was
never permanently registered here, the car is still registered in the
US.
The car is for sale locally as well, but there are slim chances of
this to happen. First of all this is a US model car, with the steering
wheel on the left side, as opposed to a UK model, that has the
steering wheel on the right side.And second, in order to be able to
register this car here in UK the buyer would have to pay very high
import/custom taxes. So I decided to sell the car back in the US.
As I’m unable to travel in the near future and I don’t have anyone
back home to help me with the sale I decided to make this transaction
through eBay or craigslist.
So how this actually works? Simple: the buyer sends the payment to
eBay and they hold the money until the car is delivered; I ship the
car to US; I get my money only after the buyer receives the car and
makes sure everything is as agreed. I believe this protects both buyer
and seller and it’s the right way to do this.
The final price is $5,000 including shipping from Europe to the US and
delivery to your home address.
